DATA PRACTITIONER, TEDx SPEAKER, AND CAREER COACH
As an aspiring first-generation college graduate, Ashley prided herself on leading by example through volunteerism. She developed a passion for making impactful changes in her community and was recognized for her commitment by former President Barack Obama with the President's Volunteer Service Award.

Ashley has since earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with a concentration in Rhetoric & Communication, magna cum laude at the University at Albany (SUNY), and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Managerial Analytics, summa cum laude at Mercy College.

Her expertise in public health led to Ashley focusing on consulting and managing projects that helped establish the first tertiary healthcare facility in Tanzania, East Africa, as well as establishing a healthcare concentration MBA program in partnership with the Mercy College Strategic Consulting Institute.
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ashley launched the #DataGirl social media campaign to increase awareness of data careers. Her campaign motivated her to create data-inspired apparel and accessories and create the Data Girl Scholarship in partnership with the New York Urban League. Ashley's passion for supporting data enthusiasts led her to earn a Women's Entrepreneurship certificate with the Bank of America Institute at Cornell University. Ashley has led instructor-based training from data analytics and career preparation to over 100 people across 10+ states and 3+ countries in backgrounds ranging from healthcare, education, and business.
Ashley continues to candidly share her experience navigating career opportunities in STEM, creating a personal brand, and promoting diversity in data careers. Her topics are tailored to high school students, college students, and working professionals in collaboration with nonprofits, academic institutions, and organizations such as Olay, IBM Developer, and Grow with Google, to name a few.
Ashley has been recognized throughout the years and awarded: Ignite Caribbean's Under 30 Change-maker Award (2022), Diversity MBA's Top 100 Emerging Leader (2021), Winner of the 30 Second Pitch Competition, sponsored by Women's Entrepreneurship Conference New York City (2020), First Prize Winner of the New York Small Business Development Center Pitch Competition, funded by Capital One (2019), Forbes Under 30 Scholar Program (2019).
Ashley is a Fortune 50 Data Practitioner and active member of the Recording Academy (GrammyU) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She volunteers as a Solar System Ambassador at NASA, Women in Data Science (WiDS) Ambassador at Stanford University, Public Relations Specialist at Women in Data, and Marketing Data Analyst at the New York Urban League. Also, Ashley is an Analytics Lead and founding member of BlackTIDES. This online community supports the professional growth of Black professionals in technology, informatics, data science, epidemiology, and social science industries.
